The blade is folded-forged from 1095 high carbon steel and clay tempered, the hamon is suguha. The tsuka is made of hardwood, it's wrapped with genuine rayskin and synthetic silk ito. The saya is made of hardwood and coated with orange painting and flower decoration. The tsuba, fuchi, kashira and fittings on saya are made of copper and plated with gold.
